Wrinkle Reduction

Men Wrinkle Reducing Therapy Treatment

Anti-ageing wrinkle treatment for men

Wrinkle relaxing injections are one of the most popular and effective treatments for the reduction of facial lines. Wrinkle reduction therapy consists of a series of fine injections into targeted areas to soften facial lines. This helps you achieve a younger and rejuvenated look. It is a safe and non-invasive treatment with proven effects.

A new trend towards maintaining a natural look is using wrinkle relaxing fillers as a prophylatic way of preventing deep wrinkle formation. Boy-tox is a quick procedure that achieves a very subtly enhanced look while it maintains all facial expressions. It involves very small amounts of the facial fillers injected with virtually no downtime. You can even go back to work the same day. In the hands of an advanced injector wrinkle fillers refresh your look without limits to your facial expression. You can smile and frown as ‘boytox’ simply softens only the deep lines in the correct dosage.

The benefits of wrinkle injections are not just for women with many men carrying out the procedure. Wrinkle fillers are also available as a facial slimming procedure for men. By treating overdeveloped masseter muscles you can achieve a slimmer jaw line and add facial definition. The relaxation of these muscles also helps men who grind their teeth at night. Whether you wish to soften facial lines or simply want to achieve a more chiselled look this is certainly a safe and effective way to do so.

Before starting your treatment we would recommend that you:
• Avoid Non-steroidal anti-inflammatory (NSAIDs) medicine for 2 days (e.g. diclofenac, ibuprofen).
• Avoid Ginkgo Biloba and vitamin E for 2 days.
• Avoid alcohol for 1 day.
• Avoid aspirin for one week (if you take aspirin for medical reasons, please consult your doctor).
During the treatment your skin will be cleansed and disinfected.
The treatment itself is very simple, quick and relatively painless as only very small needles are used. An ice pack or Arnica might be used to minimise bruising if it is needed.
Recovery from the procedure is pretty immediate with virtually no down time.
In individuals with known hypersensitivity to botulinum toxin A or human albumin treatment will not be recommended.
We would also recommend that treatment is avoided in the presence of infection or severe inflammation at the injection sites, disorders of the neuromuscular junction (Myasthenia gravis, Lambert-Eaton myasthenic syndrome, Multiple sclerosis, Myopathies.)

Side effects are rare, mild bruising might occur, but this usually fades quickly (you can minimise bruising by avoiding medication aforementioned before the procedure).
You can carry on with your day pretty much as usual immediately after leaving the clinic. The result is seen in 3-5 days as a more revitalised and youthful look. The effect lasts between 3 to 4 months and can be up to 6 months in some individuals.

Book a complementary check up in 2 weeks time to review your progress, if needed top-up will be given without charges, you will also have a chance to discuss other treatments that can complement the new you.
